When I walked into the TestShoots studio that day, I was terrified. My life has always been about hitting the mark on the track, but suddenly, here in my orange top and jeans, I had no finish line. The lens was just staring, and my hands were shaking. I knew taking off the clothes was the easiest part; the real challenge was the terrifying honesty that came after.
The moment I realised I had to pose naked, my athletic discipline took over. I remember thinking, "I just have to do this, pose by pose". Every open legs pose felt like a massive step forward. It was a mental battle where I felt incredibly vulnerable, but my determination kept me going. That struggle, captured in all 101 photos, was the whole point of being there.
Looking at the finished gallery now, I can actually see the moment the fear turned into freedom. That casting on December 4 2019, taught me that courage isn't just about strength; it's about being honest about your vulnerability. I hope that raw emotion and my spirit of self-discovery come through in every shot.
